GBPUAT UG/PG/MCA/Ph.D. Entrance Exam 2020: GB Pant University of Agriculture and Technology (GBPUAT), Pantnagar has invited online application for admission to Undergraduate, Postgraduate, MCA (except M.Tech) and Ph.D. Programs of the University for the Session 2020-21. The admission to M Tech Programs will be done on the basis of GATE score and B.Tech. merit. Candidates from the Other States may apply for admission to M.C.A., M.Tech. & Ph.D. Programs only.

B. PG Courses: M.Sc in Agriculture; Masters in Technology M. Tech; Masters in Science Majors; M.F.Sc.; M. Sc. in Home Science; M. Sc. in Veterinary Science; Masters in Computer Applications (MCA); Master of Fisheries Science [MFSC] (AQUACULTURE)

C. For Ph.D.: Agric. Extension & Communication; Management; Biochemistry; Botany; Chemistry; Environmental Science; Agricultural Science; Mathematics; Microbiology; Physics; Biotechnology; Fishery Resource Management; Plant Physiology; Fishery Resource Management; Aquaculture; Clothing and Textiles; Family Resource Management; Agronomy; Horticulture; Horticulture (Vegetable Science); Irrigation & Drainage Engineering

Eligibility:
– For B Tech Courses: Should have appeared and qualified for JEE Main 2020. Admissions will be solely done on this basis.
– For Ph.D. (Agronomy and Plant Pathology): Should have appeared and cleared the ICAR entrance examination for the same.
– For Master’s Program (Molecular Biology and Biotechnology): Should have appeared and cleared the JNU entrance exam for the same.
– For MBA: Should have appeared and qualified for the CAT and CMAT score and GD and an interview conducted by the university.
– For M.Tech Program: GATE qualifying marks in the subject (Major) in which admission is sought will be considered, then BTech merit marks. For other State candidates, ICAR entrance test marks will be considered.
– For MCA Program: GBPUAT will be conducting a university level entrance exam. Interested candidates should clear this exam.
– Undergraduates Programs: B.Sc Agriculture, B.Sc Food Technology: Intermediate Agriculture/Science with mathematics of biology or equivalent exam.
– B.V.Sc. & A.H.: Intermediate Science with physics, Chemistry, Biology and English or equivalent exam and should have obtained a minimum of 50% marks for general category and 40% for reserved categories (OBC, SC & ST) in aggregate in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology.
– English B.F.Sc.: Intermediate Science with Biology/Agriculture or equivalent examination.
– B.Sc Home Science: Intermediate Science with mathematics or Biology.

Selection Process: All admissions in the University shall be made strictly on merit as determined on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in the Competitive Entrance Exam to be conducted by the University, except the following:
– MCA Program: Shall be made on the basis of separate Entrance Exam to be conducted by the University.
– Master’s Program in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology: Shall be made through the entrance examination conducted by J.N.U., New Delhi
– M.Tech Programs: Shall be made first based on the qualified GATE qualifying marks in the subject (major) in which admission is sought. Vacant seats shall be filled based on OGPA/percentage (%) of marks of B.Tech
